Inauguration of Europe's 1st recycling center for food containers

Uzaje, an ambassador for the circular economy and SSE, has just inaugurated its
industrial site for the re-use of food containers. This European center, whose
investment amounts to 3.5 M€, is capable of washing, every day, several tens of
thousands of containers, from the catering (collective or commercial),
events or food processing industries. L'Alsacienne de Restauration, API and
Zerooo are among Uzaje's first customers in Strasbourg. Since its
birth in 2018, Uzaje has washed over 8.5 million food containers.
